5. Raphael Guerreiro (previously 19)

Guerreiro has returned in quite a way since being injured. Scoring a delicious volley against Schalke and having top performances looks natural for the Portuguese International. The energy Guerreiro brings on to the pitch during every game helps rally the team. It is a wonder that Dortmund started the season so strongly without him.

Raphael Guerreiro has played wonderful for Borussia Dortmund. Peter Bosz should be proud of his form after return from injury.

4. Maximilian Philipp (previously 4)

Philipp has performed brilliantly when he was given the opportunity to play this season. Up until his injury, Philipp had been a promising striker for Borussia Dortmund. Philipp’s performances rightly reminded fans of the ever injured Marco Reus. However, Philipp is set to be out of action for several months. While it is hopeful that the injury will not be season-ending, fans should manage their expectations of not seeing him on the pitch anytime soon.

3. Christian Pulisic (previously 1)

Christian Pulisic is one of BVB’s top performers. He is not being pandered to, he is simply that good for as young as he is. To spotlight his most recent performance, he ran past a majority of Real Madrid players like they were standing still. He has done that on quite a few occasions. Decision quality can always be better in hindsight, but for what Pulisic has done for Borussia Dortmund since starting for the first team has been phenomenal.
