Shinji Kagawa – 2 previously 3

Shinji Kagawa has been in amazing form. He was not given a chance to play against Schalke, and it felt like a massive mistake. Kagawa has been a consistent performer all season, with his performances only improving as time goes on. He is being used to almost full capacity and continues to shine while in black and yellow.

It was interesting to see Kagawa on the left wing on Wednesday, as he is primarily in an attacking midfield role. He easily put on a man of the match caliber performance against Real Madrid. Kagawa suffered from being misused horribly since his time at Manchester United. Surprisingly for Borussia Dortmund, Peter Bosz has managed to get Kagawa to perform strongly once again.
