David Neres

Borussia Dortmund have been linked with Kasper Dolberg and Matthijs de Ligt in recent months. But it’s David Neres who the club should target.

The Brazilian has been in scintillating form this season, having scored eight goals and eleven assists in 21 games for Ajax.

Still only 20, Neres has a chance to have a similar impact to Ousmane Dembele down the right wing for Borussia Dortmund. Andriy Yarmolenko has failed to perform consistently since his summer arrival. And it would be wise to make a move for Neres and give him a chance to get settled into the league and slowly integrate him into a regular starter.

With doubts remaining over the long term futures of Marco Reus and Christian Pulisic, Neres can be the next winger to take the world by storm at Borussia Dortmund.
