Luke Shaw

The Manchester United left-back has endured a difficult few years at Manchester United. Some serious injuries have halted his progress, but whenever he has played, he has shown just how good he is. Shaw is still only 22, and while he has not been linked with Borussia Dortmund, signing him would be a great move for Der BVB.

While Marcel Schmelzer has been a great servant for Borussia Dortmund over the years, he has evidently lost his pace and is not as assured anymore. Erik Durm is injury prone and has yet to feature for the club this season. And Raphael Guerreiro often gets found out defensively and is more comfortable in forward positions.

Manchester United are reportedly in the market for a new left-back, which could allow Dortmund to get Shaw on the cheap. The England international has impressed whenever he has played this season. His darting runs down the left flank and his attacking play has been brilliant. And he has been defensively solid too.

Signing Luke Shaw is unlikely, but there aren’t many better left-backs in Europe available at the moment.
