Emre Can

The German international is set to leave Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are rumored to be interested. And with his contract expiring in six months, he could be signed on the cheap or on a pre-contract agreement ahead of a free transfer next season.

Dortmund’s midfield struggles have seen them get dominated in the first half of the season. Nuri Sahin no longer has the pace or legs to play week in week out. Mahmoud Dahoud still hasn’t reached the levels expected of him. While Gonzalo Castro simply isn’t good enough. Add the uncertainty surrounding Julian Weigl’s future to that, Borussia Dortmund must do whatever it takes to sign Emre Can.

The 23-year old has gone from strength to strength since joining Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen. He is versatile and technically gifted. And while he is more likely to join Juventus, Dortmund should not give up on him just yet.
