Daniel lives in Bochum, just ten miles away from the Signal Iduna Park. He has been a Borussia Dortmund season ticket holder since 2002 and cheers his heart out for the team from the Yellow Wall. He also shared his video with us from Borussia Dortmund’s game against Liverpool last year when both sets of fans sang “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

How did you become a Borussia Dortmund fan?

It was because of my father who took me to the stadium when I was 6 years old. Thank you dad!

What’s been your favorite memory as a Borussia Dortmund fan so far?

There are so many of them like the Champions League winning campaign in 1997 but I think it’s the first German Championship after almost becoming bankrupt and of course that match against Malaga.

Who is your favorite player at the club?

Dede because of his loyalty and now Marco Reus.

Which player would you like to see at Borussia Dortmund?

Kylian Mbappe! Just kidding. I think we need a new centre back. Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli would be nice. For me he is one of the best defenders.

Where do you think Borussia Dortmund will finish this season in the Bundesliga and in Europe?

I think we will finish in second place this season.
