Rode suffered an injury back in August because of which, his contribution this season is nonexistent. A healthy Rode provides depth in midfield but does not add much game-changing quality to Dortmund. Rode would be a nice piece to have around, but he has not been available this season. Perhaps in the summer, Dortmund may sell off Rode, because even when healthy, he does not display the quality to play for a top side.
