Mahmoud Dahoud’s season has been disappointing. However, the disappointment is not entirely his fault. He has not received the ideal amount of playing time but has shown flashes during his time on the field. Dahoud’s performances have been inconsistent, but he is not starting week-in-week-out. He provides a greater attacking outlet in comparison to Gonzalo Castro. Hopefully, his game time increases in the second half of the season.
