Borussia Dortmund’s best line-up after the January transfer window

Raphael Guerreiro (LB)

Guerreiro is incredibly versatile and will probably be used in a number of roles. However, his best position remains on the left side of the defence, as a pseudo midfielder. His ability to support the midfield and run to the final third is a major tactical tool in BVB’s arsenal. When called upon, he can add an extra man in the middle.

His ability to play as a winger means that he has the attacking nous to create for the strikers too.
