I believe that Borussia Dortmund should advance to the Europa League quarterfinals. Dortmund have the top end talent to advance, and I am a strong believer that in most instances talent wins out. The season has been a massive disappointment and it is possible that Dortmund will flame out.

RB Salzburg can play another near perfect game and hold on to their 2-1 advantage on aggregate and move on the quarterfinals. Borussia Dortmund have more top end talent across the board whether that is Sokratis in defense, Julian Wiegl in midfield, or Marco Reus in attack.

Top end talent coming together and performing to their level usually results in victories and trophies, but this season has been inconsistent at best for Dortmund.

Peter Stoger is the key because in knockout ties a manager needs to galvanize his players like Diego Simeone does with Atletico Madrid.  Stoger must find a way for the team to play with the same fire they did against Frankfurt in their last game. Dortmund have the obligation to advance and I believe they will.

My prediction is Dortmund win the game 2-0 and advance with a 3-2 aggregate score.
