Borussia Dortmund definitely have the quality to turn this tie on it’s head and come out and bury RB Salzburg 4-0 in the second leg. The issue is will they, what Borussia Dortmund team is going to show up on Thursday?

If Borussia Dortmund are going to make it through to the next round of the Europa League they are going to have to come out and play for 90 MINUTES. This Borussia Dortmund team have had immense difficulty all year putting together a good performance for the full 90 minutes. We’ve seem great halves, great segments of play but rarely if ever seen a fully convincing performance from the black and yellows.  If they can do that, I’m certain they will be on to the next round.

However, the reality is that there are just too many holes in this Borussia Dortmund team.  The likelihood of them suddenly coming together and bucking the current trend is just not realistic. As much as I’d love to say with confidence we will be in the last 8, I’m going to say that this is as far as Borussia Dortmund will go in the Europa League. No one would be happier if I’m wrong.
