What is Borussia Dortmund’s ideal XI for the coming season?

The German club has invested heavily in the transfer window and while most of their acquisitions have been shrewd signings, it remains unclear as to how many will break into the starting XI next season.

Borussia Dortmund struggled on multiple levels in their previous campaign. The club had a bad mix of players who failed to inspire winning performances before it took managerial changes to qualify for the UCL.

Several new names have arrived but who’s going to make the ultimate cut under Lucien Favre is still anybody’s guess.

We’ll try to break this down and hopefully give you a glimpse of what next season’s team could look like under the new coach.
