Marco Reus is set to return to BVB as the new captain after some brilliant performances with Germany in the World Cup despite an early exit.

Reus was probably the only player showing any true motivation and is arguably the best attacker Germany has now, which is saying a lot. He is an undisputed starter in the XI barring injury. Even when he returns from injury, he will remain first-choice.

Jadon Sancho has been a revelation and the teenager is on a trajectory to the stars. Sancho will likely be rotated with Reus to keep the latter fresh for the important games. Larsen will probably leave on a loan while André Schürrle deserves to be sold. In the off-chance that Schürrle stays, he will take some major minutes from Sancho’s quota next season.
