NASCAR, Jurgen Klopp and much more

This match was always going to be the “big one” on the tour. Facing off against Jurgen Klopp in Charlotte, North Carolina would have to wait though. Marco Reus and Jadon Sancho elected to take a trip in a Borussia Dortmund inspired NASCAR vehicle.

NASCAR is the strangest partnership for BVB to have. It is also the most genius because it was unexpected. This was a great experience shared between two unlikely sports.

Hugo the Hornet (Charlotte Hornets) got a nice surprise from fellow bee Emma. The two had a ball of a day from the looks of it. On the other hand, it doesn’t appear the Carolina Panthers had much to do with the visiting German side.

The match itself saw Liverpool take an early lead in the first half thanks to Virgil van Dijk. A brace from Pulisic and a stoppage-time winner thanks to Jacob Bruun Larsen secured the victory over the former boss. After the match, the Dortmund players made sure to stop and greet the fans before catching up with old boss Jurgen Klopp.

The last stop on the tour was “Captain America’s” hometown, Pennsylvania. The Black and Yellows awaited a Champions League rematch against Benfica at Heinz Field.
