Achraf Hakimi (7/10)

Position: RB/LB

Hakimi’s loan-deal is a bit of a lose-lose for Dortmund, much like Batshuayi. We get to have this amazing player at our disposal and yet, when he does reach his full potential, we return him to the parent club. Loan deals are tricky in general but they’re more complicated when we talk about a player who is so young and has such incredible potential. Either we help him realize it, and make the most of it for the loan period, or we use him as a catalyst to encourage those already in the ranks to perform better. It is a tightrope to walk on and it is unclear which route BVB will take. Either way, only time will tell if this move was a good idea.
