Borussia Dortmund have yet to taste defeat this season and will be hoping to take their good run of form going against Wolfsburg. The Black and Yellows will be without several key players in defense, but with their star studded attacking lineup, they will be confident of outscoring their opponents on Saturday.

After failing to win any of their last six games, Wolfsburg have found their form once again and have won their last two matches. They currently lie tenth in the table and will be hoping to cause an upset on Saturday.
Team News
Abdou Diallo, Marcel Schmelzer and Lukasz Piszczek are all out injured, but Manuel Akanji could return to the bench after it was revealed that he is part of the 18 man traveling squad. Paco Alcacer is cleared to play in this fixture. Expect the super sub to continue adding to his goal tally when he gets on the pitch. Borussia Dortmund will also be without Mario Gotze, who has bronchitis.
Opposition Star Man: Wout Weghorst
The 26-year-old center forward is slowly building momentum for Wolfsburg. Currently with five goals and two assists, Weghorst is looking more and more dangerous as the season progresses. Weghorst transferred from AZ Alkmaar to Wolfsburg this past summer and it was a good deal. Last year, he scored 18 goals and he can grab one or two with the home field advantage. Dortmund’s makeshift defense will have to keep him at bay if they are to get the three points.
Last Match: Borussia Dortmund 0 Wolfsburg 0
This was Peter Stoger’s third game as head coach last season. He didn’t have all the pieces in place for his lineup at the time and lacked a true striker. Michy Batshuayi didn’t join the club on loan until deadline day. As such the game played out to a draw due to both sides’ lack of ability to create a legitimate threat in the attack.
