Axel Witsel – 8.5/10

He is flat out exceptional. Quite simply, Borussia Dortmund would not be having the successful season they are having without Axel Witsel. So consistent, so reliable in every part of the field. I only wish we had signed him years ago.

Thomas Delaney – 7/10

A very solid game from Thomas Delaney today. He has earned Favre’s trust up to this point in the year as the 2nd midfield option in the starting lineup. He played a very simple game allowing Witsel to dictate the short build up play, not playing too many line breaking passes on the ground. However, he was very effective in his long ball distribution not only switching the play to create space but also finding Sancho and Bruun Larsen with his diagonal long balls into space.
