Best Player: Marco Reus

The Borussia Dortmund captain is without a doubt the best player in the Bundesliga right now. He is lighting up the competition and already has 14 goals and 9 assists in all competitions. Reus was also named Germany’s Player of the Year for 2018 recently.

Just watching The Black and Yellows this year has been wonderful. But the comeback story of Marco Reus is what drives it. Reus missed majority of the last two seasons due to injuries. But the Dortmund talisman has returned with a bang this season. He has featured in all but one of Borussia Dortmund’s games so far this season and has led the side from the front with exemplary displays throughout the first half the season. The stats don’t compare to how humble he is and how he plays on the field.

The captain’s production is outstanding though. Reus has been involved via a goal or assists roughly every 91 minutes as of this writing. This truly is the best Reus we have seen in quite some time. Lets hope that 2019 is just as good for him.
