Worst Signing: Marius Wolf

Not all players are enjoying their time at Borussia Dortmund this season. For example, Marius Wolf is currently getting boxed out of the first team selection. Wolf has failed to impress this season, evident by having the fifth overall lowest minutes for the club.

During those 10 appearances this season, Wolf has only scored once. That was back on matchday three and against his former club, Eintracht Frankfurt. Following a string of time off due to injury, there is little noise regarding the winger. Last season he made his breakthrough and had 6 goals and 11 assists, missing only three games to injury. But since joining Borussia Dortmund, Wolf has struggled to impress.

“The Wolf of The Yellow Wall” will need to kick his game into gear. At the age of 23, the German has spent most of his time off the pitch and on the bench in Black and Yellow. With Sancho, Bruun Larsen, Guerreiro and Pulisic ahead of him, there may be little chance of 2019 becoming Year of the Wolf.
