Filipe Luis closing in on BVB move?

Atletico Madrid left back Filipe Luis has agreement with Borussia Dortmund ahead of a potential summer move, according to Spanish journalist Tania Martín. Luis is one of the many full-backs to have been linked with the Black and Yellows in recent weeks. And with his contract set to expire in the summer, Dortmund could look to snap him up on a free transfer in the summer.

The report adds that while there are things that still need to be closed, everything is on track for the 33 year old to join Borussia Dortmund. It remains to be seen just how much truth there is to these rumors, but its worth noting what Hans Joachim Watzke told Sky when asked about the Filipe Luis rumors.

"“Going somewhere to get a player who has a bit more experience is never wrong. But it is not nearly as hot as it was in the media.” “If you hear that such a player comes on the market, then at least you think about it. We’re probably in that status right now. We definitely want to do something in the position of left back.”"
