Borussia Dortmund fan favorite set for return to the club.

According to Kicker, former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Otto Addo is set to return to the club in a coaching role next season. The former Ghana international spent six seasons with the Black and Yellows, scoring 11 goals in 75 appearances between 1999 and 2005. He won the Bundesliga title with Borussia Dortmund in the 2001-02 season and helped the club reach the UEFA Cup final in the same season.

He is currently an assistant coach at Borussia Mönchengladbach, but will leave to join Lucien Favre’s coaching staff when his contract expires at the end of the season. Addo’s role with Borussia Dortmund will see him work as the link between the youth team and the senior side. He will help with the incorporation of the junior players into the first team.
