Paco Alcacer (7.5/10)

Paco Alcacer, super sub. What a first season in Germany for the Spanish striker, scoring 18 goals in only 26 appearances, most of them coming as a substitute. Alcacer hit the ground running scoring 7 goals in his first 4 games. He continued his torrid scoring pace throughout the remainder of the first half of the season, racking up 12 goals in his first 12 games.

Fitness was really the only issue for Alcacer as he was unable to string together consistent performances. This must without question improve heading into next season as Dortmund can’t have their main striker unable to start in back to back games.
