Omer Toprak

Toprak was very unlucky with injuries this season, and ended the campaign behind even Julian Weigl in the pecking order. His future was already in doubt before Hummels’ arrival, and now he is even more likely to leave this summer. Clubs in Turkey are rumored to be interested in signing him.

Toprak showed last season that he is good enough to play regularly for Borussia Dortmund, but unfortunately he wasn’t given much of a chance to prove himself this season. He has a contract until 2021, and his high wages could put off interested suitors.

But Borussia Dortmund will be keen to get him off the wage bill and hopefully, he will be able to find a club where he can play regularly next season.
