Robert Lewandowski

Arriving from Lech Poznan for just north of 4.5 million Euros, Robert Lewandowski set the Bundesliga on fire after joining Borussia Dortmund. The Polish international scored 62 goals while playing in Poland. These numbers reached greater heights in the Bundesliga, where he is now one of the best strikers in all of football.

The 30 year old is still in the top ten for goals scored at Borussia Dortmund with 103 total strikes for the club. Lewandowski’s best performance came in the UEFA Champions league semi-final match at home against Real Madrid in 2013. The striker scored all four goals for Der BVB in the first leg, which was enough to send the club to the Champions League finals against Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski, sought greener pastures after failing to win the UEFA Champions League and left on a free transfer to rivals Bayern Munich. He has won a collective 7 Bundesliga titles between both teams, but the Champions League trophy still eludes him.
