October 19: Home to Borussia Mönchengladbach

The Freiburg game is followed by a two week international break, after which Borussia Dortmund will host Borussia Mönchengladbach in the first of the two fixtures between the two sides this month.

Gladbach endured a poor start to the season, but have found their form in the last few weeks. Marco Rose’s side have won their last three games in the league, and have risen up to fifth place in the table, two points clear of Borussia Dortmund.

New signing Marcus Thuram has made a brilliant impact, while star striker Alassane Plea is in good form as well.

But if Borussia Dortmund really want to win the Bundesliga title this season, this is the type of fixture they should be winning.
