October 23: Away to Inter Milan

The Gladbach game will be followed by another tough away game, this time in the Champions League, as Borussia Dortmund travel to Italy to face Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri have made a near perfect start to the season. They have won all six of their league fixtures so far, conceding just two goals in the process.

They have three top quality defenders in Milan Skriniar, Diego Godin and Stefan de Vrij, and a potent attack led by Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez. But as Slavia Praha proved two weeks ago, Antonio Conte’s side is still a work in progress.

Barcelona are expected to take top spot in the group, and the second qualifying spot will likely go to either Inter or Borussia Dortmund. So a good result in this fixture could go a long way in helping Dortmund qualify for the knockout rounds.
