October 26: Away to Schalke 04

Borussia Dortmund then travel to Schalke for the first Revierderby of the season. The Black and Yellows’ poor form has seen them slip below rivals Schalke in the league standings. David Wagner’s side have won four games on the bounce and look to have finally moved on from last season’s struggles.

Their win over RB Leipzig last weekend showed that Schalke are serious contenders for a top four spot this season, and Borussia Dortmund will have to be at their very best if they are to get the three points.

The two local rivals have played some thrilling contests in the last few years, and expect this one to be no different.
