Full Backs: Achraf Hakimi and Kwadwo Asamoah

Achraf Hakimi takes the spot at right back because of his superb start to the season. The Moroccan international has scored four goals so far, including two in the Champions League. Although his best performances have come while playing further up the pitch, he gets the nod over Lukasz Piszczek and Danilo D’Ambrosio, who haven’t been able to make as much impact.

Kwadwo Asamoah is the easy pick at left back as a result of his impressive performances for Inter Milan. When Asamoah was sold by Juventus, it looked like he was past his prime. But the Ghanaian has been rejuvenated under Antonio Conte this season. His performances at left wing back have been key to Inter’s impressive start, and he certainly deserves a place in this combined XI.
