November 05: Home to Inter Milan

Borussia Dortmund then take on Italian giants Inter Milan on Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League group stage. After suffering a 2-0 defeat to the Nerazzurri two weeks ago, Borussia Dortmund slipped to third place in Group F.

While Dortmund are level on points with Inter, Antonio Conte’s side are currently ahead based on the two teams’ head to head record. So next Tuesday’s game is a must win for Borussia Dortmund if they are to get their hopes of qualifying for the knockout rounds back on track.

But as Borussia Dortmund found out at the San Siro, Inter Milan are a very difficult team to score against, while their counter attacking play can be lethal and very effective. So Lucien Favre must figure out how to get the better of them, or Dortmund could be forced to play in the Europa League next year.
