Erling Braut Haaland

Signing Erling Haaland would have been a non-starter for Borussia Dortmund this time last month. A figure of 50 million euros was being quoted, and some of Europe’s biggest clubs were being linked with a move for him.

But then it was reported that Haaland has a release clause of 20 million euros in his contract. And now it is being said that he was in Dortmund with his agent to discuss terms ahead of a proposed move.

If Borussia Dortmund manage to sign Haaland, it would be a massive boost to their squad. Not only would he give the team a much needed second striker, but he would also add something different to the attack.

The Norwegian international’s numbers tell everything you need to know about him. He is scoring goals for fun this season, and is being heralded as the next Ibrahimovic. Strong in the air and technically gifted, Haaland has excellent movement and works hard off the ball.

If Borussia Dortmund manage to add him to their already formidable attack, opposition defences better watch out!
