Five strikers Borussia Dortmund should consider signing in January

José Juan Macías
José Macías is another very highly rated striker, who has been scouted heavily by Borussia Dortmund in the past. The 20 year old is owned by Guadalajara, but is currently on loan at Club Leon in Mexico, where he has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 15 appearances.
Macías also made an appearance in the “Inside Borussia Dortmund” documentary when scout Markus Pilawa was watching a video of his goals, before telling Michael Zorc to “Sit down, enjoy and open your coffers.”
Macías has shown great promise in his homeland. His high work rate, ability to take on defenders, and his excellent finishing makes him a very exciting prospect. He is lethal in and around the box, is direct and is full of energy. He has already earned comparisons with former Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez, and is undoubtedly primed for big things.
A move to Europe doesn’t seem to be too far away, and should Borussia Dortmund decide to go for him, he could prove to be another excellent long term signing.
