Andre Schurrle

Andre Schurrle is on loan in Russia with Spartak Moscow after disappointing stints in the Bundesliga and the EPL. Schurrle’s career kind of went off the rails after his transfer to Borussia Dortmund. Dortmund have loaned him out in two consecutive seasons and will once again be looking to offload his contract in the summer. The issue is his wages are astronomical for the teams that would be interested in a permanent transfer.

Schurrle had a strong start to the season notching 2 goals and 4 assists in the month of August. Unfortunately from there he has gone cold and struggled with a couple minor injuries.

Felix Passlack

Felix Passlack has taken a very steep dive from promising prospect to near flop in 2 years. He was once dubbed as the successor to Lukasz Piszczek and although he is only 21 years old that is now a thing of the past. Passlack is currently on loan with Fortuna Sittard in the Eredivisie  and has cemented his spot in the starting lineup.

The good news for Passlack is he is only 21 years old, with lots of time left to get his career back on track. With his much improved play this year he is starting to see consistent minutes which will only help his prospects in the future. Although it is unlikely to be with Borussia Dortmund, Passlack should be able to secure a permanent move to a team able to give him consistent playing time.
