Omer Toprak

Omer Toprak has had a very disappointing season. Leaving Dortmund in search of more game time he made the move to Bremen on loan. Unfortunately Toprak has barely been able to play, torn muscles, muscular problems and Tendinitis have derailed Toprak’s season and he has only appeared in 4 games.

This situation is really tough as Toprak is a very solid defender who would have helped Bremen immensely thus far this season.

Jeremy Toljan

Jeremy Toljan is currently on loan in Serie A with Sassuolo and has carved out a nice role in the starting XI, starting in 13 of the 16 games he has been a part of the squad for. It’s not very likely that Jeremy Toljan makes his way back into the Borussia Dortmund squad but he should be able to find a new club in the summer fairly easily.

Toljan seems to have been one of the many benefactors of Julian Nagelsmann’s management, who always seems to be able to get the most out of players. He isn’t the first and he isn’t the last to be buoyed by an exceptional manager.
