Paco Alcacer

Paco Alcacer has recently been linked with a move away from Dortmund, with conflicting news of Zorc being on board with the sale or completely against it. With no real clarity in sight Alcacer returned late, but returned all the same to Borussia Dortmund’s training camp. On Monday he made it back to full team training but it isn’t likely to be rushed back into a game right away.

It may not be a good idea for Borussia Dortmund to let Alcacer go in the winter. Doing so would leave Dortmund once again with only one true striker option, which is the exact issue that plagued them in the first half of the season.

Marco Reus

Marco Reus tore a muscle fiber in the game against RB Leipzig that kept him out of the loss to Hoffenheim. It was a massive loss losing Reus and Dortmund were hopeful he would be able to get back to full fitness for the start of the second half of the season. It hasn’t been confirmed if Reus will definitely be back in time but all signs are positive thus far. He isn’t back in full team training but he was able to train with the ball individually.
