Thogan Hazard & Thomas Delaney

Both Thorgan Hazard and Thomas Delaney trained individually with the ball alongside Marco Reus on Monday. Thorgan Hazard was taken off after only 45 minutes against Hoffenheim and it wasn’t talked about all that much. It looks as though it wasn’t anything too serious as he is on his way back to full team training.

Thomas Delaney is still on the mend from his torn ankle ligament which has kept him out for about a month and a half. He is likely to be out a bit longer than Reus and Hazard, there isn’t a firm timetable for his return yet. With Julian Weigl leaving the club Delaney is the main cover for Axel Witsel in center midfield.
