Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing in-demand Norwich City right back Max Aarons, reports in England say.

Max Aarons is one of the most highly rated full-backs in England, with a host of clubs including RB Leipzig, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Everton all reportedly interested in signing him. According to Sky Sports UK, Borussia Dortmund have entered the race for the 20 year old’s signature.

Sky Sports say that Norwich are willing to sell Aarons for a fee of 30 million pounds this month, but the majority of his suitors would like to do a deal in the summer.

Aarons came through the ranks at Norwich and has developed into an exciting full-back under former Borussia Dortmund youth coach Daniel Farke. He was a key player in Norwich’s promotion winning squad last season, and has started all but two of their Premier League games so far this season.

Borussia Dortmund already have three right-backs in their squad at the moment. But Lukasz Piszczek is expected to retire in the summer, while Achraf Hakimi is set to return to Real Madrid after his loan spell ends. The Black and Yellows also have former Barcelona right-back Mateu Morey in their ranks, but he has yet to make his debut for the first-team.

So signing a new right-back who can also play as a wing-back will be high on the list of priorities for the BVB bosses in the summer.

Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with RB Leipzig’s Lukas Klostermann in recent months. The German international could well be a cheaper option with his contract set to expire at the end of next season.
