Borussia Dortmund had an underwhelming hinrunde, and a lot of their woes were down to decisions made by head coach Lucien Favre.

The Borussia Dortmund head coach oversaw some important wins in the first half of the season, but also made some very avoidable mistakes that cost the team in key matches. As a result, the Black and Yellows sit seven points behind league leaders RB Leipzig at the half way stage of the Bundesliga campaign.

With the team currently in Marbella preparing for the second half of the season, Lucien Favre and his coaching staff must make sure that they do not make the same mistakes again. Otherwise, Der BVB’s title bid will go up in flame, and Favre might find himself out of a job come the end of the season.

Here are three things Favre must do in the second half of the season if he is to turn things around at Borussia Dortmund.
