Erling Haaland

Haaland joined Borussia Dortmund in the most high profile transfer of the winter window so far. The Norwegian international enjoyed a prolific first half of the season with RB Salzburg, and will be aiming to continue his stellar scoring streak at the Westfalenstadion.

Of course, he is still a young player who needs time to adjust. And fans will undoubtedly be patient with him. But a lot of hype has surrounded this move, and the media will heavily scrutinise his early performances.

Haaland is a confident character who will score a lot of goals over the next few years for Borussia Dortmund. But if he gets off to a strong start and helps his team put on a serious title challenge, he will not only silence the doubters, but will also become an instant fan favourite at the club.
