Attack: Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus, Thorgan Hazard

Borussia Dortmund’s dominant front three should return to the pitch together to start 2020. Marco Reus, Thorgan Hazard and Jadon Sancho have developed some great chemistry over the first half of the season. Sancho ended the first half of the season on an absolute tear and more of the same will be needed in the second half. There’s a lot of work to be done but if Sancho can play the way he has in the recent past it will be a massive boost for Dortmund.

Marco Reus has done really well in the system change, playing as the “striker” in the new formation. Not much of a natural striker his movement off the ball has finally started to create chances for his teammates.

Thorgan Hazard didn’t come out of the gate hot to start the season but he has been great recently. He has played himself into a clear cut first choice starter with Borussia Dortmund.

New signing Erling Halland is still getting settled in and is likely to start on the bench, but expect him to come on in the second half.
