Achraf Hakimi (5/10)

Hakimi failed to keep up with Vargas for the first goal despite his immense pace. He made several sloppy errors in the first half, but got better as Borussia Dortmund dominated the second. He was also ineffective going forward, and made the wrong choice in possession more often than not.

Axel Witsel (6/10)

Returning to the heart of the midfield, Axel Witsel put in a solid display, but wasn’t able to boss the game like he usually does. Augsburg’s hard-work and high pressing put him under a lot of pressure and limited his impact a bit. But the Belgian played an excellent through ball to find Hazard, who teed up Haaland for Dortmund’s fourth.

Julian Brandt (7.5/10)

Showed great composure with his turn and finish to pull a goal back right after Augsburg doubled their lead. Brandt played some excellent forward passes and created good chances for his teammates, but was let down by some poor finishing.

Raphael Guerreiro (6/10)

Guerreiro put in another hard-working shift down the left side. He played some nice passes, and was solid defensively, without making a huge impact going forward.
