Erling Haaland (9/10)

No hat-trick tonight, but Haaland once again showed his immense quality with a brace after coming on from the bench. The Norwegian international’s first showed his great poaching ability, and his second was all about determination and precision to find the net from a very tight angle.

But even if you discount the goals, he was working hard, putting in a shift, making tackles and defending from the front. It was like watching a young Ibrahimovic all over again.

And five goals in less than 60 minutes of play, Haaland is simply unstoppable at the moment.

Mahmoud Dahoud (7/10)

Dahoud came off the bench and set up Haaland for Dortmund’s fifth with a lovely through ball. His first assist in almost two years, and hopefully the start of a resurgence for the oft-forgotten man.

Gio Reyna (N/R)

Reyna came on late in the game for his home debut.
