Borussia Dortmund thumped FC Koln 5-1 in Friday’s game, making it two straight victories coming out of the winter break.

Borussia Dortmund brought their A game in their first home outing of the rückrunde, putting five goals past a hapless Koln side. As impressive as it was that Dortmund scored five times, it could have easily been a lot more than that. Although it wasn’t a perfect game and Dortmund still gave up some chances, it was a great game for the Black and Yellows and one they can continue to build off of.

Dortmund got on the board very quickly with Guerreiro finding the back of the net off a very smoothly worked team goal in the first minute of the game. Dortmund would add a second through Marco Reus in the 29th minute off another exceptional long ball by Mats Hummels. Jadon Sancho scored in the 48th minute to continue his fine form and Erling Haaland once again scored two more goals off the bench.

Here is a look at the key takeaways from Borussia Dortmund’s win.
