February 22: Away to Werder Bremen (Bundesliga)

Borussia Dortmund will travel to Bremen for the second time in February on the 22nd after already squaring off against them in the DFB Pokal on the 4th. It will be interesting to see the effect the result of the first game has on the second one.

February 29: Home to Freiburg (Bundesliga)

Borussia Dortmund will wrap up the month of February with a Bundesliga game against FC Freiburg. Freiburg had a great first half of the season collecting 29 points from 19 games, good for 8th place in the Bundesliga currently.

Christian Streich has been able to get the most out of his squad thus far into the season, with them playing well above the talent that is available in their squad. With one win and one loss so far into the second half of the season Freiburg could be in a very different position, either better or worse.

Borussia Dortmund drew Freiburg 2-2 on a 90th minute own goal in their first meeting this year and will be looking to improve on that result. It was one of several games in the first half of the season that Dortmund had control of the game and dropped points, something that can’t continue into the second half of the season.
