Lukasz Piszczek (6/10)

Union Berlin did not offer much of a threat on the counter attack, meaning Piszczek’s lack of pace did not hurt Borussia Dortmund today. The veteran Pole was confident in possession, and did not put a foot wrong.

Mats Hummels (6.5/10)

There weren’t any assists for Hummels today, but his array of passing skills were once again on show. He played some excellent long balls, and was always looking to start attacks from the back. Defensively, he was solid and calm as always, making some important tackles for his team.

Manuel Akanji (6/10)

Akanji put in an error free performance today, and also played some impressive forward passes. He was barely tested defensively, but still had a couple of nervy moments over the course of the 90 minutes.
