Borussia Dortmund host Union Berlin on match day 20 in the Bundesliga looking to get revenge on their embarrassing 3-1 defeat in the reverse fixture.
Borussia Dortmund are fresh off a 5-1 thrashing of FC Koln where they dominated the majority of the game. It wasn’t a perfect game by any means but it was a massive statement win for Dortmund who have started the Rückrunde with two consecutive wins.
Dortmund will be looking to keep their win streak alive as they take on Union Berlin in a fixture they will be motivated to right after losing the first one.
The big question will be surrounding new striker Erling Haaland, and whether he will be in the starting lineup for the first time. Although he has only been brought on as a substitute he has 5 goals in 59 minutes on the pitch.
Haaland is making the Bundesliga look extremely easy, walking in and scoring goal after goal. Hopefully he can continue the trend as Dortmund will truly need him down the stretch.
As Dortmund well know, Union Berlin won’t make it easy for them. Coming off a win against Augsburg, Berlin will likely sit back and try to hit Lucien Favre’s side on the counter like they did in the first game. Dortmund will be at home in this one though, which should help them control the game even more.
