Borussia Dortmund travel to Leverkusen this weekend for a massive Bundesliga clash that could have big ramifications on the title race.

Borussia Dortmund take on Leverkusen in the top match on Saturday and will need to bring a much better effort than the one they brought against Werder Bremen. They just didn’t play up to their own standards and they risk embarrassment if they play that way again. Games against Leverkusen are always very open and action packed with back and forth attacking play. With Peter Bosz’s high back line combined with Dortmund’s lethal counter attack they could take advantage early and often if they’re clinical in front of goal.

Dortmund suffered a massive injury blow against Bremen with captain Marco Reus ruled out for a month. Regardless if Reus has been at his best or not this season, it’s bad news for this Dortmund side. Thomas Delaney is also still on the road to recovery and will miss this fixture.

Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up.

Goalkeeper: Roman Burki

If Roman Burki isn’t back in the Dortmund goal I would be shocked. He was rested just for the sake of it against Bremen and although Hitz has done well the majority of this year he had a tough game against Bremen, letting in 2 preventable goals.

Burki should draw back into the starting XI from here on out barring injury.
