Gio Reyna (5/10)

It looks like Favre got a bit too carried away with Reyna’s goal on Tuesday. Bringing him on instead of Hazard at half time was a poor decision. The young American tried to make things happen, maybe a bit too hard. Dortmund had a goal chalked off because Reyna had fouled Bender in the build-up. If that goal had stood, maybe Dortmund could have gotten the three points today.

He also hit the post with a deflected effort, but was very sloppy defensively.

Despite his struggles, it’s hard to blame him for not performing well on a consistent basis. Reyna is still only 17, and Favre should have known better than to ask him to rescue the team in every game.

Thorgan Hazard and Mario Götze (N/R)

The duo were brought on to save the game late on, but didn’t have enough time to lift a deflated Borussia Dortmund side or make an impact.
