Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis as a potential replacement for Jadon Sancho.
Jadon Sancho is being heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund this summer, with some of Europe’s biggest clubs circling for his signature. The likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea are all said to be interested in signing him.
Der BVB are already said to be looking at potential replacements, and have been linked with a number of wingers in the last few months.
According to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws, Borussia Dortmund are following the progress of highly rated Club Bruuge forward Emmanuel Dennis. The 22 year old, who can play on either wing, as well as up front, is said to be attracting the interest of a number of clubs around Europe, including AS Monaco, Sheffield United, Newcastle and Watford.
The Nigerian international has scored eight goals in all competitions for Club Brugge so far this season, including two in the Champions League against Real Madrid.
The report says that Club Brugge are hoping to earn a transfer fee of 25 million euros for their prized asset. It also adds that Dennis met with Sancho in Dubai during the winter break, and the duo are said to have talked about Borussia Dortmund’s interest.
A lot of Borussia Dortmund’s summer transfer business will depend on whether or not Jadon Sancho decides to leave the club. The BVB bosses will be hoping to convince him to stay for another year, but will know that a move back to England might be too hard to turn down for him.
