Emre Can has arrived

Emre Can stamped his arrival at Borussia Dortmund with his well rounded performance against Frankfurt. He seems to be the perfect addition to the Dortmund midfield. He has all the physical tools to dominate in the middle of the field along with the skill and composure to make him a great all around midfielder.

He was great in this one, his play alongside Witsel reinforces the Dortmund defense without him actually playing in defense. He brings great defensive quality with his presence on the pitch but isn’t limited on the ball the same way Delaney is, Can is a very competent passer and playmaker. He looked like he picked up a slight knock and was taken off in the 64th minute, it would be a big blow if he isn’t fit for the PSG clash as he is instrumental to Dortmund’s starting XI at least until Brandt is back.
