Borussia Dortmund and Paris St. Germain meet at the Westfalenstadion on Tuesday for the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

Having returned to winning ways with a resounding 4-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday, Borussia Dortmund go into Tuesday’s mouth watering clash against PSG with confidence and momentum on their side.

Erling Haaland seems to be scoring for fun at the moment, while Jadon Sancho is showing his world-class potential. Defensive woes remain a concern, especially with PSG boasting one of Europe’s best attacking line-ups.

With the second leg to be held in Paris, Lucien Favre and his players will know the importance of winning in Dortmund so they have an advantage to take into next month’s game.

Borussia Dortmund will be without their injured talisman Marco Reus, as well as Thomas Delaney. Key playmaker Julian Brandt is also out with an ankle injury, as Lucien Favre confirmed in his press conference earlier.

Here we look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up for the first leg of their Champions League tie against Paris St. Germain.

Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki

Bürki did not have a single save to make on Friday, but he will be expecting a much busier night against PSG. The Swiss goalkeeper will be hoping for an error free defensive display by those in front of him.
